Pool season typically runs Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend
Hello Neighbors,
Pool season is still a few months away!
But first we need your support to ensure a fun and safe season! Do you know other dependable teenagers or young adults in the area who might be interested in lifeguarding? Are you a Colonial Acres resident who doesn’t work full time in the summer months and/or spend a lot of time at the pool? Perhaps you’d be interested in helping out by becoming a certified lifeguard and picking up a few paid shifts? if you have any questions about lifeguarding at our neighborhood pool or potential interest, please reach out to our Pool Committee Chair, Dave Szalda (dszalda51@gmail.com).
As we have done in previous years, parties are permitted at the pool with 2-weeks advance notice to the Pool Coordinator so that an additional guard can be secured. Please read the pool rules below carefully for more details.
Please remember that only Colonial Acres Homeowners Association members (i.e. full dues-paying members) may use the the pool and its common area. If you have not paid your dues, please contact our treasurer Maria Catalano (maria.catalano19@gmail.com) or our president Justine Aloise-Patka (jmaloise@gmail.com) to make arrangements.
The pool and its common areas are a reflection of our community. It takes all of our efforts and pride to maintain it. We hope that the area can be a place for everyone to enjoy over the summer. If you have any questions or want to know how you can help, please do not hesitate to reach out to our Pool Committee Chair, Dave Szalda (dszalda51@gmail.com ) or Justine.

When the lifeguard hears thunder, everyone must exit the pool. The lifeguard must wait 30 minutes before allowing anyone back into the pool.
The lifeguards will call Adult Swim every two hours for 15 minutes. In addition, lifeguards can clear the pool as needed to take a brief break, use the restroom, get a drink, or calm down rowdy swimmers.
