The Architectural Review Committee
This committee is charged with the review and approval of proposed architectural changes to the exteriors of the homes in Colonial Acres. We have provided a link to a document describing the history and reasons for this process and its associated procedures.
The 2025 committee consists of Brian Summers , Cathy Griffin, Wayne Flach and Isaac Aloise-Patka. We are available for questions and/or any advice we can provide. As you may know, the Acres has been the recipient of some architectural awards in the past and the neighborhood has maintained a high standard of architectural integrity over the past 50 odd years of our existence. The restrictions and covenants on the deeds have helped this process, but the owners themselves are largely responsible for our neighborhood’s attractive appearance. This effort in no small way helps maintain everyone’s property values, particularly in today’s market.
The covenants are listed in the front of your phone directories and on this web site. We have provided a link to the Architectural Committee Review Application for your convenience. Replacement repairs do not require any approval; only exterior alterations to the building or significant alterations to the exterior landscaping need to be reviewed.
Thank you for your cooperation in this process.
